Meet Bruce, Our Passionate Farmer!
Bruce became so enthusiastic about farming that he purchased his own farm in Woodville, ON, where he raised cattle and grew a variety of crops including pumpkins, squash and gourds! Despite the hard work, Bruce finds peace, enjoyment, and fulfillment in every aspect of farming. After a full day at General Motors (now retired) you would often find Bruce on his tractor for hours, dedicated to his farm!
At MacArthur’s Pumpkin Patch, everyone plays a part! From Bruce’s grandchildren to his adult children, our family is deeply involved in every aspect of the farm!
Our family takes special care in growing and planting pumpkins to ensure the best harvest each season. From preparing the soil to planting the seeds and tending to the growing vines, every step is a labour of love!
Bruce MacArthur started farming in 1978! He grew up in a local farming community and developed a great appreciation for farmers, their hard work, and their passion to provide fresh and local food for their surrounding communities!
